3-min Video: Public Access 101: Downtown L.A.

We produced a new “in the field” video!

Public Access 101: Downtown L.A. (2016) follows the Urban Rangers and our intrepid hikers in action as we explore the complex public space ecologies of Downtown L.A.'s financial district and forgotten namesake river in search of elusive public space. We visit Union Bank Meadow, Banker Canyon, the L.A. River Backcountry Access Trail, and other sites.

We debued the video AND our new Portable Ranger Station 2.0. at Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum in New York City! “By the People: Designing a Better America” is now traveling throughout the United States.
